The Interstate Championships provides an opportunity for Australia's finest surf lifesavers to represent their state in elite lifesaving sports competition. Held over two days of competition, the state vs. state battle is contested in the pool, on the beach and in the ocean. Competition is fierce as each state fights to be crowned the dominant force in lifesaving sports.

2012 Interstate Championships

The 2012 Interstates will be held in Sydney, NSW from 22-23 January. Pool events to take place on 22 January at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush with the ocean events taking place the following day at Queenscliff Beach.
