DHL 2011 Aussies

The DHL 2011 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, to held from 2-10 April 2011, will bring together surf life saving clubs and members from across the country. Athletes of all ages will converge on Queensland's iconic Kurrawa Beach to contest over 300 exhilarating surf lifesaving events, in what will be an action-packed week of competition.

The 'Aussies', as it is more commonly known, is the largest sporting event of its type in the world, with entries open to all Surf Life Saving members. It is a celebration of the Surf Life Saving movement; a chance for surf lifesavers from around Australia to display their talents.

The DHL 2011 Aussies is proudly supported by DHL, Queensland Events and Gold Coast City Council.
